In the meantime: work in progress! the detail design of the rays, with all mesurements
this will need to be traslated to an autocad *.dwg document, see below

The complex detail drawing for the rays, with all the necessary mesurements.
The rays (in 6 sections) will surrond the panel
The mesuremtns and instructions in this drawing will
be used to make the autocad *.dwg document, necesary
to cut the gold-mirror finish staines steel sheet

The design of the rays which will surround the icon, now translated by an engineer

the rays, now cut, in the process of being oil-gilded

Oil-gilding the rays. These will be assembled and placed surrounding the icon,
once the work arrives in the Church of St Joseph in Dublin

Materials used for the varnisihing of the icon
and its water-gilded background. This was done in different layers
